  • Cafe Sky: A must-visit rooftop bar with volcano views. Watch Fuego erupting at sunset! 2-for-1 breakfasts with fresh orange juice. Despite the name, they serve drinks and delicious food (not coffee).
  • El Mirador Rooftop Patio: 360° views of the city and landscape. Very budget-friendly - dinner for two under $20 USD. Great burgers, cold beer, and lemonade.
  • Lava Terrace: Great drinks, tasty food, and amazing ambiance with views.
  • Los Tres Tiempos Antigua: Excellent for both rooftop dining and authentic Pepián.

Brunch & Cafes:

  • Union Café: One of the best places for brunch in Antigua.
  • El Viejo Cafe: Amazing bakery for pastries and a charming shady courtyard cafe for lunch.
  • La Bruja: Excellent vegetarian/vegan cafe in Centro Comercial la Fuente courtyard.

Traditional Guatemalan:

  • Rincon Tipico: Authentic Pepián and traditional Guatemalan dishes. Watch them make tortillas!
  • La Casa de las Sopas: Small, rustic place serving traditional soups and stews. Perfect for cold evenings.

Flores has an amazing food scene! Almost every building on the outer border of the island is a restaurant. The food in Flores is absolutely elite!

  • Maple & Tocino: A must-visit for amazing breakfast or brunch with lake views. The terrace overlooks the water, making it perfect to start your day. Great mix of Guatemalan and international flavors, excellent waffle options.
  • Maracuya: One of the favorite places in Flores! Fresh and vibrant meals with refreshing juices or cocktails and a great cozy atmosphere. Wide range of meals from breakfast until after dinner (except Tuesdays).
  • Terrazzo: Perfect for dinner with a lake view! Rooftop Italian restaurant with lovely ambiance for a cozy dinner. Great after watching the sunset.
  • Cool Beans Cafe: Perfect afternoon chill spot.
  • Nativo & Enrico: Additional excellent options along the waterfront.
